Doctor Chatelain

Dr. Martin Chatelain was born in Argentina in 1965 and immigrated with his family to the US in 1976. He grew up in Cleveland Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, New Jersey and obtained his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School in 1992. He underwent internship at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City and completed his residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has worked in a variety of settings including primary care, family practice, nursing homes, hospitalist, urgent care and occupational medicine.

Dr. Chatelain and his wife moved to Hickory, North Carolina from New Jersey in 2011 and he worked at Frye Regional Medical Center for 2 years before going into private practice at Adult Internal Medicine in 2013.
